My Future Career

Over the years I have been asked "what will you do in life?" or "what career do you want to
pursue?", and my answer has always been a completely neutral one because I have never been
firmly convinced of what I want to pursue in life. One of the reasons I have always been
undecided is the inconsistency of the things that attract me and that I enjoy doing.
One thing is for sure, I have loved and favored some subjects constantly throughout my years,
both school and university. I was always attracted to the exact sciences, especially biology
and mathematics because I felt they had their own special charm. Of these, if I had to choose
one to follow in my life, it would be biology with all its branches, especially since I studied
genetics and molecular biology in college, which attracted me a lot and it was very easy for
me to I understand them.
In this way, with a wealth of information in mind I can benefit from a wide range of jobs,
such as: laboratory in an analysis or research laboratory, doctor or even teacher.
The best part is that the Faculty of Biotechnology prepares me for the future, because many
companies and various factories are looking for people with higher education and experience
in the field who can handle various situations.
Next I will talk about the two places where I would see myself in years to come, following my
dream and being proud of my chosen career.
First of all, I would be very passionate about working as a laboratory technician in an analysis
laboratory. This job is one of the future, it is very well seen and it would put me to the test and
I would never get bored of it. At the same time, it is a job where I will be able to improve my
skills to work in a laboratory with different substances, it would make me become much more
careful and perfected with everything I would do throughout my life. Through this job I will
be seen completely differently by society, I will be proud of my chosen profession and I
would like to learn something new at least monthly if not weekly, I want to exceed my limits
if I choose this career.
Secondly, I would be interested in pursuing a career in education as a biology teacher. I
wouldn't care if it was in high school or even college as long as I liked what I was going to do.
Of course, the higher the better, but it takes a lot of work. The work I will do with all my heart
if I somehow decide to follow this path. This job will be very active for me, which will keep
me engaged because I will work with people and we all know that "the hardest job is working
with people". Some of the advantages of this job: I will always think that I could show

someone a subject that I love, I will be respected, going out in society will be everything else,
I will never be able to get bored at work, and monotony has no way of appearing because each
class differs from the other. This profession would help me get rid of the stage and make
public speaking no longer a problem, in addition it would enrich my vocabulary and improve
my diction because I would communicate daily with many students and even fellow teachers.
I would do my job as a teacher with great pleasure because even today I remember with
admiration and respect my biology teachers, each with their own style that fascinated me.
They made me love this field, they made me want to know as much as possible about the
living world and all the phenomens that happen around it. Biology shows such a vast field that
you will always have something to learn and every day new information, new discoveries
appear.
I know it won't be long before I have to make a final choice that will influence my life more
or less but until then I still have a very wide field to choose from and I still have enough time
to try new things that I may be much more passionate than those mentioned above.
In conclusion, my future career will be closely related to biology, either in the laboratory
working practically with various substances and reagents, or in the field of education working
with students and showing them how beautiful the living world is and everything that
revolves around it.
