1. What is the importance of PE in your college life?

Physical Education is a subject matter taught to students starting from elementary


to college. It is important to my college life as I will continue to learn about the different
aspect and advantage of PE in my life. I think it will help my lifestyle to be healthier and
I will learn how to balance my time for different physical activities. It also motivates me
to communicate and interact with my friends and classmates. Most importantly, it will
benefit my mental health as I learn how to prioritize and take care of myself. Physical
Education has many advantages to college students like me that will surely help us grow
into fine, fit, and stable young adults.

2. How can your participation in physical activities develop you physically, mentally,
emotionally, and socially?

Participating in physical activities has many importance to all aspect of ourselves.


I can be physically fit and I can lose weight or gain muscles if I exercise regularly with
gym programs. If I am motivation enough to pressure myself, I will have that confidence
to lose weight and be fit. I can gain motivation from doing physical activities to
strengthen my mental health towards a healthy and better lifestyle. I was once a table
tennis player when I was in elementary, I experienced being focused on the game and I
played with all my heart. Playing a sport that I loved made me pour my emotions. Lastly,
I made friends when I was still an athlete.

3. Do you agree that being fit and being healthy are two different concepts? Explain your
answer.

I think being fit and being healthy are two different concepts. A person can be
physically fit but not healthy based on his health condition. A person can also be healthy
even though he is not physically fit. By means of being fit, we talked about the physical
body of the person. By means of being healthy, we tackled about the health condition of a
person. I believed both of them are two different concepts but it is better to be both
physically fit and healthy without any health condition.

4. Can a fat person be considered fit and healthy too? Explain your answer.

A fat person can be considered as fit and healthy too. As long as their weight
matches their height and their BMI is accurate to be considered as fit. They can also be
healthy if they don’t have health conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol etc.
Moreover, I believed that being fit and healthy are two different concepts. I also think
that a fat person can be better if he/she is physically fit and healthy.
