What are the differences between Persuasive and Argumentative communication?

Persuasive and argumentative communication are two different approaches to convincing an

audience to adopt a particular viewpoint or take a particular action, but at the same time, both
of them are aimed at persuading other people to join, making them believe, etc
The goal of persuasive is to persuade others to change their minds and beliefs, and when it
comes to their tone, it is full of emotion that tries to establish a connection with the receiver on
a personal level, and it can take the form of anecdotes, stories, and metaphors. Also, mostly of
their receiver is may not be well-versed in the topic being discussed. The example of persuasive
are Speeches, articles, and videos of motivational speakers
In argumentative communication, the main goal is to convince others with the validity of a
particular position or claim. and the way they convince others is that their message is full of
logic and relies on presenting evidence and reasoning to support the position being argued. and
the form or structure it will take is starting with a thesis statement and then presenting
evidence and reasoning to support the claim. And most of their receiver is already familiar with
the topic and has some knowledge of the arguments and evidence being presented. Here is an
example of Argumentative communication like debate which is an argument that full of logic
and evidence in its message.
