【Outlines of cleaning and Necessary items】

<At the time of printer installation>　Refer to Page 2.
Work procedures for initial ink fill-up:
(Common with JV150/300, CJV150/300, JV33-BS and CJV30-BS)

* The following procedures must be applied to Black nozzle lines (Line D and E) only.
For the other nozzle lines, follow the Maintenance Manual to clean inside of the head unit.

If replaced cap, moisten the edges of caps

with cleaning solution before turning on.
■ Syringe, gloves, waste cloth

Follow the instructions of head replacement

For JV33-BS, CJV30-BS

At the time of printer installation

Common with JV150/300, CJV150/300, JV33-BS and CJV30-BS series

Procedures:

① Keep the machine turning OFF, manually move the carriage out of the station.

② Dampen the clean stick with the cleaning solution and moisten the
edge of caps.

* Thoroughly wet the edge of caps.

* Ink suction volume is increased due to improved adhesion between
the cap and nozzle surface by wetting the edge of caps.

③ Manually move the carriage to the original position and turn the machine on.

Follow the instructions of initial ink fill up in the Installation Guide for each model.

At the time of print head replacement

- JV150/300 and CJV150/300 series

- Before replacing the printhead, thoroughly wash inside of the new print head with cleaning solution as shown below.

① Attach the new damper to the new printhead.

② Insert the syringe with the cleaning solution into the damper mounted with fitting.
Press the plunger of the syringe to purge the liquid from the nozzles.
Please follow the following notes and instructions strictly.

Approx. speed for pressing the plunge: 12 to 15 ml / 30 seconds

(Press the syringe so that the cleaning solution is pushed out.)
Amount of liquid per nozzle：20 ml or more per nozzle.

* Clean Black nozzle lines (Line D and E) only under the condition above.
For the other nozzle lines, follow the Maintenance Manual in order to clean
inside of the head unit.
* Use the cleaning solution specified in this document. Do not use other liquid.
* Dampers attached to other ink channels can be removed as needed.
SPC-0369: Cleaning solution MS2/ES3/HS

MP-FTLLB220-2: Panel mount black

(internal diameter 2.4mm)
Fill the syringe with cleaning solution.

Inject the cleaning solution to inside of the printhead via the damper.

③ After all nozzles are cleaned, replace the printhead according to the maintenance manual.
If the caps are also replaced, moisten the edge of caps as necessary.

② Insert the syringe with the cleaning solution into the damper.
Press the plunger of the syringe to purge the liquid from the nozzles.
Please follow the following notes and instructions strictly.

Approx. speed for pressing the plunge: 12 to 15 ml / 30 seconds

(Press the syringe so that the cleaning solution is pushed out.)
Amount of liquid per nozzle：20 ml or more per nozzle.

SPC-0369_Cleaning solution MS2/ES3/HS kit200

Dedicated jig for internal printhead cleaning Inject the cleaning solution to inside of the printhead
(MP-M005027: INJECTION MATERIAL) via the damper that is came with the jig kit.

③ After all nozzles are cleaned, replace the printhead according to the maintenance manual.
If the caps are also replaced, moisten the edge of caps as necessary.
