Synopsis :

After Nobita’s future had been changed for the better, Nobita stated that it was the

best moment of his life, and told Doraemon that he couldn’t be more happier than that time.

After detecting Nobita’s feeling of happiness, Doraemon’s program suddenly commanded

him to go back to the 22nd century. Doraemon was feeling terrible that time, knowing he had

to leave Nobita for sure in 48 hours. That moment, Doraemon realized that he had a hard time

to leave Nobita because of his cowardness, recklessness, unreliable, and almost fails in

everything.

A day after, Nobita suddenly ran back home, crying for Doraemon’s help because he

was getting bullied by Gian. After hearing that, Doraemon suddenly yelled to Nobita with full

of anger and stated that he should learn to take care of himself and stop relying on Doraemon

to live on without him. Nobita was shocked and asked for Doraemon’s explanation shortly

after hearing what Doraemon said. Then, Doraemon explained to Nobita, Nobita’s mother,
and Nobita’s father that he was programmed to go back to the 22nd century in less than 2 days

time, and the program prohibits him to go back to Nobita’s timeline even for only a short

visit.

After hearing Doraemon’s explanation, Nobita lost his spirit, and can’t accept that

Doraemon has to leave him forever. Doraemon tried to encourage Nobita, but none of them

works. Shortly after, Doraemon admitted that it was very hard for him to leave, he was

worried that Nobita can’t even stand and defend himself when he is getting bullied by Gian

and Suneo, he explained that he wanted to stay by Nobita’s side so that he won’t get worried.

Lastly, Doraemon asked Nobita to promise him one thing, and that is Nobita will stand and

fight when he is getting bullied by Gian and Suneo.

Without saying a word, Nobita stood up and walked out his house, and told Doraemon

to leave him alone. Then, Nobita met Gian in the park, confronted him and had a brutal fight

instead of surrender or running away to prove Doraemon that he is able to defend himself so

that Doraemon could leave without having to worry for him. The fight was ended with Gian’s

surrender. After witnessed Nobita’s fight, Doraemon took Nobita home, full of tears and

leave peacefully the next day.

Then one day, on April fools day, Nobita was pranked by both Suneo and Gian,

resulting Nobita was bitten by a dog, and believed that Doraemon has returned. After Nobita

realized that it was a trick pulled by Gian, Nobita was angry and wanted to take a revenge on

them. Then, he drank an “April Fool Potion” which Doraemon left him in case of Nobita is in

desperate needs of Doraemon’s help. The potion’s effect is turning the drinker’s lies into the

truth and vice versa. After finishing the score between Nobita and both Gian and Suneo, he

went back to his house and lamented that Doraemons will never return after being asked by

his mother. Then suddenly, Doraemon showed up in Nobita’s room, and explained that
suddenly he got permission to stay in Nobita’s timeline. Then they realized that it was

because of Nobita’s saying “Doraemon will never return” was still in the potion’s effect, and

it became a truth. They both hugged and cried in happiness with Nobita said “I am so

unhappy, I don’t want you to stay, and from now on we won’t be together forever”, and

because of the potion’s effect, it means the opposite.

Film Review :

In this last scene, we can see that Doraemon and Nobita’s relationship are getting

stronger and deeper. This scene really touched my heart. It was when Doraemon forced to

leave Nobita, both of them cried a lot. I know how it feels like when you will never see your

loved ones again, forever, it’s really bad. The moral lesson is keep loving and treating your

loved ones the best you could, while you still can. It also teaches us not to rely on someone

else and become their burden. We have to show others that we are strong, and we can

overcome anything that comes ahead.
