Doraemon Cartoon Doraemon : Stand by Me Synopsis Doraemon is a robotic cat that lives in the 22nd century, and is known as a caretaker who helps others with his futuristic gadgets. One day he is approached by Sewashi Nobi, the great-great-grandson of Nobi Nobita.
Sewashi demands of Doraemon to go back to
the past and make Nobita happy in order to prevent a disastrous and bleak future. Doraemon is not excited about this idea, but Sewashi installs a program into Doraemon and eventually sends him back to the past. On the other hand, Nobita Nobi is an elementary school boy who is very lazy, unlucky and a scaredy-cat. He gets bullied by everyone and does not excel in any school subject. When he meets Doraemon for the first time, the two of them start off on the wrong foot; however, they soon become great friends. Doraemon cannot go home to the 22nd century unless he turns Nobita into a boy who can stand on his own and be happy. So, Doraemon helps Nobita with his “magical” gadgets stored in his 4 Dimensional Pocket. Afterwards, Doraemon did it. He made Nobita happy and gave him a better future. But sadly, succeeding the mission means Doraemon has to go back to the future and leave Nobita. As he leaves, he left some of his gadgets with Nobita, just in case he needs it.
Nobita uses one of Doraemon’s gadgets and he
accidentally called Doraemon back from the future. Therefore, they are staying together from now on until forever. THE END Review / Critics The movie has a good animation, nostalgic storyline, simplified language and also great three-dimensional visuals, which is the first in Doraemon’s movies or series. This film was rumoured to be the last of Doraemon films. Despite of the rumours, this film has a light and interesting story. Everyone can understand the story of this film without having to watch the Doraemon series.
The movie has many heart touching scenes and
moral values. But, there are some inappropriate contents or scenes to be shown to children. So we think that children need their parents’ supervision in watching this film, as it is also a great nostalgic film for the parents. Moral Lessons ● To have more confidence in yourself, you are capable of doing things more than you ever thought ● Never give up. Failure is a part of life. Use those failures as your stepping stones to reach your goal ● Learn from mistakes, either yours or other’s ● Don’t live by depending on others, show others that we can do things on our own or even dependable for them. ● Success is Journey, Not a Destination. Nothing great comes instantly
