Greetings!

I am Christian Angelo N. Ruiz, and I am writing to express my interest to be a Program Chairperson

of the National University - Psychology Department. I saw that the organization’s advertisement via
Jobstreet.

With my 4 years of industrial and educational experience through employment and internship, I
believe I have ample background to be considered for the role. I recently finished my masters in Industrial
Organizational Psychology from De La Salle University Dasmarinas and graduated in 2019. I took my
bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the National University Fairview and graduated in 2015. I was
professionally affiliated in International State College of the Philippines as an Industrial Organizational
Professor (2020-2021) and was eventually promoted as a Program Chair in Psychology (2021-2022). I used
to plan the complete year's class and staff calendars, as well as activities and programs. I used to keep track
of the faculty evaluation forms, load forms, course syllabus conformance, and students' grades. I also
produce activity and program reports for submission to the department dean and academic director for
approval, and I write reports about the students' activities, programs, and successes every term. By
instructing pupils, I also had the ability to encourage learning and elicit important educational experiences.

I had my master’s industrial and organizational internship in International State College of the
Philippines where I had the chance to help students, teachers, and staffs to stay mentally healthy by
assessing psychological test with their concerns, and prepare psychological reports and referring them for
counselors for counseling session if it is manageable. I also had the opportunity to teach psychology
students and assisted professors to manage the class. After all the Institution give me the chance to be their
employee and work as an industrial organizational psychology professor after I finished my internship where
I applied what I learned my expertise in educational setting.

Since I passed the board licensure exam in psychologist, I have been planning to have a lot of
experience in different institution where I can learn different work ethics for being program chair. I was also
working on my research which was published this March 2022. If there is a chance I would love to pursue
my doctorate in psychology where I can reach my full potential.
