The client feels really low in mood and lazy, at the same time is very worried about her
exams because this is the first time she has to give an online exam, hence the client is
expecting some help with how she can relax herself and be more productive during this
lockdown.
The client has a nuclear family and is living away from family now for her education. In the
clients family there are 4 people, she herself, mother of the client, father and an elder sister.
The client's mother is a homemaker and is a 12th pass. Her father owns a business and has
studied B.COM and her sister is currently working in an IT company and has completed her
masters in IT.
She doesn’t have a lot of information about her development milestones. But according to
what she has heard from her mom she says she started walking quite at an early age as
compared to others in her family.
The client has PCOS from the past few years now. And as a child she has a small tube like
something near her ears for which she has to get an operation done at a very small age and
later again she had some liver problem at a very small age for which she was admitted to the
hospital for a fews days, but that's all she remember about these things as she was really
young at that time.
She is doing her bachelors in LAW currently, she was never a very good student and always
scored average marks in school, she hated studies as a kid but now she likes studying and
has improved a lot. She was also interested in doing Event management but wasn't sure and
chose LAW, She also really enjoys reading and write=ing articles and poems. She was a
good swimmer in school and has also played district level swimming competition, she has
also won a few debate competitions and easy writing national level competitions.
She has never really done a job and has no work experience except for a few years she
used to write book reviews for a website. But now she doesn't do that as she doesn’t get
enough time.
She has never has a substantial relationship with anyone as of now, she did talk to a few
guys but never liked anyone enough and hence has had no sexual relations as well.
She thinks of herself as a very confident person and very strong headed woman, she thinks
her biggest strength is the way she is able to express herself and her emotional stability. Her
weakness is that she starts trusting people very easily, and can get angry very easily.
She couldn't recall any such events in her life that she would mark as a turning point.But she
thinks moving to a boarding school was a significant change as she was o 13 when she
moved to a boarding school.
Right now she wants to do her masters abroad and hence working towards that. And wants
to be a very successful judge in the future. She is also preparing for the exams that nee to
be given in order to become a judge.

3. Attention and Concentration: She was paying attention to everything i was asking and
responding consciously

4. Speech: Clar and had no problems


5. Orientation: was good and was well aware of time and place
6. Mood and Affect: A little low and worried, was warm and helpful

8. Thought Content: None
9. Ability to Think Abstractly: Thinking pattern seemed normal
10. Perceptions: Hallucinations: None
11. Memory: Immediate, Recent, Remote: All forms of memory seems to be working
normally
12. Intellectual Functioning: Normal
13. Insight and Judgment: None

Reflection paper
As the interview was a telephonic interview it was very difficult to do the MSE as i could not
do any physical judgements. Also as she is a friend of mine there is a possibility that she
might have not been very comfortable sharing all the details with me but what really wired in
my favor was that as she is my friend rapport building was not required and hence it was a
lot easier to conduct the interview. Also as it was a telephonic interview I was not able to see
her and hence couldn't do any judgments based on the body language of the client.
