Training Manager, Remote

Grow Remote - Remote

Grow Remote is a not for profit on a mission to enable us to work, live and participate
locally. We do this by making remote work (via employment) both visible and accessible.
We provide training, community resources, employer partnerships and recruitment so that
every facet of the remote work journey is supported.
We are now looking for an experienced Training Manager who will lead and develop our
training team. We are keen to find someone who is self-motivated, passionate about
remote work and has the ambition to make this their own in an environment that
encourages creativity and innovation.
In leading our Training Division, you will play a key role in helping us realise our vision. We
want to create a future where children will someday marvel at the idea that there was a
time when jobs were attached to a location - the same way that children today marvel at
the idea that phones were once attached to a landline. It is true that remote work has
become more widespread, but we are at a pivotal point in this transition. Employees,
jobseekers and employers are eager to change but there are limited supports available to
help them. Just like ‘Brexit-ready’ or the support given to businesses to help them move
online, we need a range of ‘remote-ready’ training and supports if we are to make remote
work stick and realise the many benefits for our local communities. Our training courses,
delivered free and nationwide, are the first of their kind and are the largest remote training
programmes to be run in Ireland.
Grow Remote is not a training company and our training courses were built when we were
still volunteers. We simply built solutions to challenges companies and job seekers told us
they were facing. This focus on impact and responding to needs is why our courses are so
successful and is one of our core values embedded in everything we do.
