My Name is Kavita Dhamal, Daughter of Mr.Gujaba Ramchandra Dhamal and Mrs.

Snehal Gujaba Dhamal, born on 16-09-2002 in kurla, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

I have completed my SSC from Mahila Mandal, girls highschool, kurla (w.) and
completed Diploma in electrical engineering from VJTI,Matunga and currently studying
in third year of electrical engineering in Atharva college of engineering,Malad

I just came into realizati on that my undergraduate studies will soon be

Completed next year. I now see that this is a very crucial phase in

my career because I have to decide the specifi c directi on in which I need to move

forward to. I am greatly interested in towards the aspect of being involved in an

industrial work environment. This is basically the main reason why I am looking

forward to pursuing graduate studies in university of Columbia, NewYork.

On top of that, there are also factors which have proved to be enlightening in this
fi eld.

There are a lot of changes in the fi eld of design engineering as well as global
industrializati on. All of these can make the role of a electrical engineer an
indispensable one.

My greatest desire is to become a part of this rapidly moving community.

In order to att ain all of my goals, I have already shown quite a keen interest in the

fi elds of Physics and Mathemati cs, which have also helped me quite strongly in

att aining a good percentage of my grade during my tenth grade. Since I really love

science and technology, pursuing a career in the fi eld of engineering seemed to be

almost natural for me. In order to study in this program, I need to overcome

certain hindrances.

My undergraduate study has provided me with a comprehensive and wide

exposure to diff erent courses which I fi nd really interesti ng, parti cularly

electrical machines, power system, and many more. I fi rmly believe that

learning can be done by actually doing it. I fi nd experimentati on as a very

fascinati ng aspect that I can get myself involved in. I fi nd that well reputed

insti tuti on will provide me with the kind of training that I am looking forward to

achieving. I have done 4 weeks internship at MMRCL, Bandra and during pandemic
period I have completed 180hrs coursera courses related power system, oil and
natural gas, introducti on to solar cells etc.

My only intenti on is to pursue a Smart Electric Energy in New York, Acquire

professional

skills and knowledge in electrical . So, I kindly request you to consider my
