After being announced that I was assigned on the computer room, I was filled to the brim

with joy and excitement. However, my body was still under the weather. I was having a fever
and I felt quite exhausted. In order to get ready for the work immersion, I forced my body and
mind to get out of bed despite being very drained and weary. I had to force myself to do it
because if I skipped this day, there would have been a deduction in my points. Going to school
while being sick felt unbearable. Nonetheless, I put up with the discomfort and continued to
attend to my duties in the computer room.

The computer room is a workplace where I prefer to work at because of its  tranquil and
relaxing environment. It would be a complete nightmare for me if I were assigned to other areas,
like the shop for example. For the first few hours, we were forced to wait for our proctors
because they were still participating in a meeting. My group just talked to each other while
anxiously waiting for our proctors to give us directions for our work. Finally, when sir Cadimas
arrived at the computer room, he instructed my group to install Arduino on the computers.
Having to install Arduino on every computer was a task that did not require extensive work on
our part. We only needed to follow a brief process to download the app and it was done.

Despite the task being uncomplicated, there were a few obstacles to overcome. One of the
difficulties is the lengthy loading time when installing Arduino. Certain computers would require
more than ten minutes to complete the software download. Another difficulty we ran into was
that some of the computers would not switch on or operate. Lastly, some computers would deny
the password that we put in since it required a different one that is not the same with most of the
computer. We labeled the computers with a pen and masking tape as we installed Arduino to
indicate which PCs were finished and which had problems.

My first day of duty in the computer room was a big success. I was thankful that we only
did the work in less than two hours because of my condition. Our proctors were also kind and
friendly to us students. They guided us in doing our task with competence and compassion.
Furthermore, I appreciate the work my team made in completing our task. While working
together to finish our assigned task, we guided and directed each other. After I got home, I was
able to sleep well because I knew my day had been fruitful.
