PERSONAL REFLECTION

As this is my second year in this Yearbook class, I find myself

learning skills deeper into design pertaining to the class, but
also in my personal time. I have learned that design is very
fun and I love to create pages or content for people to
absorb and interact with. Canva is basically my best friend
and I have been able to experiment with creating my own
designs for anything I need. In this production class I would
say that my strengths lie in design and time management. I
myself have a busy schedule, so I am able to complete
spreads on time and communicate well if something comes
up. I think people will think my spreads are fun to look at and
explore, as I did take some creative liberty with some of
them. I need to work on making all of my spreads fun to look
at though. The most challenging thing for me this school year
was probably managing all of the things on my plate; keep
up my grades in my regular classes but also exploring my
creativity in my fun classes not to mention my extracurricular
activities. Future Yearbook students should know that
Yearbook is a fun class and will only become stressful if you
wait until the last minute or don't communicate with the rest
of the staff. Yearbook is also a leadership class, so know
that while fun, it is a privilege and responsibility to create a
book for our student body to enjoy.
