Women's rights have
significantly improved but
there are still many
improvements to be made.
Things that have significantly
improved are women's
suffrage, where women can
work, and how men view
women.
Improvements that can
be made
Wikipedia says, “States must
also differentiate with regard
to healthcare by ensuring
that women's health –
particularly with regard to
reproductive health such as
pregnancy and childbirth – is
not neglected.” Women
should get given the right to
decide what happens to
their bodies.
The effects
WW2 of WW2
History.com says, “With their men
away, women became more self-
sufficient. Many brought tools home
from work and used them on their
own home repairs.” This shows that
when the men were at war the
women proved to themselves and
to others that they could do “men's”
work. After WW2 women had
many of the men's jobs but when
the men returned they took the
majority of their jobs back, so
women went back to being a
housewife.
During WW2 most men
were away because they
needed to go to war. PBS
says, "During the Second
World War, women proved
that they could do "men's"
work, and do it well." This
shows that women proved
to men that they could do
"men's work" just as well as
men could.
