INTRODUCTION
The Prince Sultan Cultural Center is an already constructed building with the need of
new modern, but regional traditional designs renovations that reflects the culture of the
Ha'il and its people. To reflect the Ha’il culture for those who visit, the design took
direct influence from the famous high mountains to the dry creeks, from the ancient
past and the near past, from the mud bricks to the gypsum walls, all of which took place
and consideration in the design.

The second project is a hotel building that would attract visitors coming from
the gallery and the amphitheater it uses a similar design language from the gallery that
compliments the traditional culture of hail as well as having some of its own. The idea
of the shape of the project is to maintain symmetry and a gradual ascend of a reversed
pyramid, this was inspired by many similar projects both local and international,
aesthetically it is also inspired by brutalist and retro futuristic architecture. For every
end of every floor there exists descending exterior stairs along with vegetation and
greenery.

The hotel also plays a commercial role as it houses many services that would
attract many visitors that may not even be residents. The ground floor provides most of
these services, those of which are a restaurant, two coffee shops, a variety of offices
and meeting halls and many more. A great deal of attention has also been paid to how
these services are accessed as the hotel has two entrances from each end of the building
which will in turn help bring in a variety of customers and visitors to these services that
operate on a daily basis unlike the gallery and the amphitheater which are reserved for
special occasions and festivals.

1. SITE ANALYSIS
The land is located in the north of Hail, in the Al-Khuzama
neighborhood, near Al Saud Street. See Figure 1- 1

1.1.Location
The project site is about boulevard and mosque, which is located in Hail City's jasmine
. the project's area is 70*64 and approximately 4,450 m2.See Figure 1- 2

The location of the project in relation to the city, is in an absolutely perfect location.
Other known landmarks of similar use are located quite far from our project. This
similar project only serves the northern part of the city. Hail University is 13 km away
and Barzan Market is 7.2 km away. The rest of the townspeople are nowhere near those
places.
