APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF CIVIL ENGINEER

Based on the statement above, I would like to join your company as position of Civil
Engineer. Recently, I found this job at MYFutureJobs website and I believe that I have met all
the requirement that have been stated at this website. My name is Mohamad Fazwan Mohd
Nasir, I am Graduate Engineer from University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). I want
to share with you about my experience that it can be relate with this job about my 8 month
Professional Training, I have been expose with documentation which are preparing and
finalize Completion of Making Good Defect. This are documents I been done which have
letter of completion from JKR, Invoice of retention money, bill quantity overall project,
method statement, profile company and others. I also do a Bill of Quantity (BQ) for a road
construction (CRMA, Mill & Pave) include also recheck and recalculate. Regarding on safety
issues on site, I been advice and monitoring by my superior to set up proper Traffic
Management Plan (TMP) to ensure nothing happen such accidents or traffic jam.

Furthermore, In my previous job, the Executive Report also I do because clients always want
to see what progress have been done according to schedule when goes to monthly meeting.
Repairing, measure and change such as door panels, buildings‘s windows, facade, cladding
and street lights. Other than that I have been going for internship program for 4 month. I
assisted assistance store keeper by stock up materials (pipes, joints, fittings, tools and
equipment), distribute materials and others important things to contractors or workers on site,
tagging code’s numbers at materials, record it in ring files and system also lastly tally it based
on system and at the store. I being locate at maintenance and repair team because it have been
instructed by my internship supervisor for purposing to support technical workers, emergency
repair work, installed and maintenance pipes along each of case happen (corrosion, failure
and burst) pipes. Lastly, I am got transfer to water treatment plant department where I been
expose to water treatment process and cleaning method. Other than this experience, I will
write it on my resume.
