A man with curly hair wearing street clothes is sat on a bench reminiscing about times, staring deep into
the nothingness of the horizon. With watery eyes his head turns right:

|It’s around 3pm, loud chatter can be heard in the backround we see two school friends, walking back
from school, enjoying their time together, laughing at random things on their walk back. One looks at
the other with a devious look on his face:

GUSI

You tryna’ get smashed in hoops in again?

PABLO

What do you mean smash? You beat me by two points. You’re a one hit wonder bro.

Gusi is stunned for a moment he then smiles and shakes his head.

GUSI

One hit won- Say nothing let’s go then.

Day:EXT

Gusi throws the ball at Pablo’s chest but Pablo isn’t ready and drops it. We see the ball bounce 2 times,
on the 3rd bounce a transition happens to the basketball court. We see Pablo dribbling the ball between
his legs with a smile on his face. Gusi hits his thighs with the palm of his hands.

PABLO

You ain’t ready for this bro.

Gusi looks at Pablo with a daring look on his face, shaking his head, then blowing his hair out of his eyes.
 GUSI

Bro stop talking shoot, that’s what you said last time.

An edit of them playing commences. The camera is stabilized on the ball following it as Pablo dribbles it.
He shoots but he misses. Gusi smiles.

GUSI

Told you.

Upbeat music starts playing and a montage of Gusi and Pablo playing basketball commences. Gusi
scores 2 points, Pablo doesn’t hesitate as soon as he gets the ball, he fakes a right, and Gusi falls for it,
he shoots form the 3 point line. He scores, Gusi is impressed but doesn’t say anything about it.

PABLO

GUSI

MOVE ON, you scored once bro.

They keep playing until Pablo finally wins.

PABLO

They shake hands and hug each other before leaving the court with arms around each other. The shot
fades from day to in front of a student accommodation.

Night:EXT

We see a pan of Bailey point building before cutting to a medium shot of Pablos. The camera follows him
up until he gets in the building.

Night:INT:ELEVATOR

Medium/Close shot of Pablos back in the elevator, he’s just scrolling through his phone until the
elevator doors open. The camera follows him as he starts waking to Gusi’s accommodation.

PABLO CALLS GUSI

Phone Ringing, Gusi picks up

GUSI ( on phone)

PABLO

Yo bro, Im outside.

Gusi (on phone)

Ok, give me a minute.

NIGHT:INT

A sped up shot of Pablo waiting outside Gusi’s door commences. He is clearly starting to get impatient,
he keeps pacing back and for forth, pulling out his phone, putting it back in his pocket staring out the
window and doing what he can to not be bored. The door finally opens, and Pablo is greeted by Gusi
smiling getting ready to dap up Pablo. They say hi to eachother and hug.

PABLO

I was just starting to get comfortable you know.

GUSI

Aha sorry bro, I was in game.

PABLO

Ye same, I was playing with my imagination.

GUSI

Shut up , let’s go inside.

2 HOURS LATER

CUT TO:

EVENING:INT:GUSI’S ROOM
The room is full of LED lights shining a dark purple. There are plates stacked up by up the bed frame and
a bong sitting on Gusi’s desk. Pablo is sat on the bed, scrolling through his phone, chin tucked in his
chest with a look of tiredness on his face, meanwhile Gusi is playing a game on his computer. He’s
wearing a large pair of LED headphones and mashing away at his keyboard. Gusi suddenly stands up and
shouts.

GUSI

FUCK!

Pablo is startled he jumps out of his seat for a minute before looking up at Gusi.

PABLO

WHAT BRO? You good?

GUSI

Ye, I’m good, I lost.

PABLO

The fu-I thought you broke you’re leg or something.

GUSI

Me breaking my leg? NEVER! Let’s do a bong.

Pablo shakes his head with tight lips and looks at Gusi while still shaking his head.

PABLO

I’m still high plus I got work tomorrow morning.

GUSI

Bro come on, stop being a bitch we’re not gonna see each other for who knows how long. Especially
since your leaving for UNI. Let’s at least have fun now.

PABLO
You do realize that we can have fun some other way. Not by just smoking weed? Right?

GUSI

Pablo pauses to laugh, looks up and then back at gusi

PABLO

ONE MORE that’s it then I’m going home.

Gusi throws his hand up in the air and shrugs

Gusi is smiling while shoving green stuff in the bong pipe, he passes it to Pablo. Pablo gets up from the
bed and goes to the window behind the curtains. We can hear water bubbling up. Pablo pops from
behing the curtain coughing and putting the bong back the table

Pablo looks at the time and relises how late it is.

PABLO

Well shit bro I’m out it’s late as fuck.

GUSI

Ok bro, when am I seeing you next then?

Pablo thinks for a second looking left andright tryna piece a sentence together

PABLO

I honestly don’t know bro. I’m pretty much working 7 days a week for these next few months.

GUSI

Pablo starts walking back to the front door.The camera follows Gusi as he goes back to his chair and puts
his headphones on.

2 MONTHS LATER

The screen is split in two one on side we see Pablo laughing and having fun with some friends while on
the other wee see Gusi on his computer playing a game. Pablo is at the arcade playing guitar hero while
Gusi has his head on his desk drifting to sleep. Pablo is playing air hockey while Gusi is sat in bed staring
at the ceiling. Pablo is going for a run while Gusi comes out fromm behind his curtains. Pablo is skipping
rope while gusi is back on his computer.

Gusi is walking in the night while Pablo is walking during the day they seem to be walking side by side if
it wasn’t for the time difference. We reach a cross road. Gusi looks right. Pablo looks left. Gusi goes left.
Pablo goes right.
