How to deliver a question in a public audience


1. Make your self properly introduced. Standing up position is preferred. Say your name and
relevant institutional information (such as your student number or your background subject
or the institutions you are representing) loud and clear.
2. Address the section relevant to your question.
3. Ask the question in a simple way.
How to answer the question:
1. Mention the number of the question you are going to respond to.
2. Repeat or paraphrase the question and confirm it to the person who question deliverer to make
sure you do not misunderstand it.
3. Answer it directly and give explanation after.
How to be a moderator:
1. Greet the audience and introduce the group
2. Mention the parts that will be explained by each member of the group
3. Organize the questions (who will address the question, how the question will be responded,
and who the question is addressed). Don’t forget to ask the member of the group to read the
question aloud before it is responded.
4. Make a conclusion before ending the session
5. Thank the audience, do not say or feel SORRY.
