    Automated speed control of ceiling fan

    ABSTRACT

    Project Title:
    Automated speed regulation of ceiling fan using humidity sensor

    Objective:
    The objective of this project is to develop a ceiling fan with an in-built
    humidity sensor that is connected to the motor and regulates the speed of the
    motor according to the room condition.

    Outcome:
    Because of this humidity sensor the work of conventional speed regulator is
    eliminated and power consumption is reduced as the fan speed is reduced
    when it is required at low speed . Human work involved in changing the fan
    speed is completely avoided.

    Methodology:
    The humidity sensor is connected to the motor and to the power supply,
    when the humidity is low the sensor increases the speed of the ceiling fan
    and when the humidity is high the sensor decrease the speed of the ceiling
    fan.
