Acknowledgement
This report is documentation on my internship at Kuwal Sanam Architekts, which I accomplished

between 28th November till 31st March,2023.
In this report you will read about my internship goals, my role and tasks as a intern, and an analysis of
how they go together with my education and future career. Lastly, I would like to thank my colleagues
for their patience and willingness to impart their knowledge with me.
Information about the company
A design-Oriented firm with the philosophy of bringing imagination to life, is Kuwal Sanam Architekts.
It is solely a BIM software company. The team uses modern technology and makes an effort to
overcome difficult tasks. They work on a variety of project types including residential, institutional,
commercial, and university projects.
Information about the internship position

As an intern there were many tasks assigned, while the central focus was on:
- Understanding how the design aspects of a construction project takes place

- Contributing to planning applications
- Preparing and presenting design proposals using different software’s such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
- Leading the detailed design process,
- Obtaining feedback from clients,
- Monitoring the performance of the contractors, etc.
I also handled various other tasks as they occurred.

If I break down my internship experience into three phases, the tasks that I was given to complete
were as follows:
Initial Phase:
During the initial days, I began to understand how office work actually proceeds. Simple tasks, such as
plan finishings, sketching, stepping up with various design ideas, research, etc., were assigned to me. I
also learned and adapted to the Revit software throughout this phase.
Mid Phase:
I explored with many façade designs, landscape designs, planning layouts, 3D modelling on Revit, etc.
during this phase. Additionally, we experienced a site visit and the activity taking place there.
Terminal Phase:
During this phase I was handed over with projects for which I had to work on internal planning,
calculating area statements, 3d modeling, and other project related tasks. Hence the experience was
very positive and knowledgeable.
Description of internship experience
I acquired a variety of knowledge during my internship and was able to use them in my practice. The
task was challenging. I developed the skills necessary to uphold our point of view, while also learning
new BIM tools and gaining more self-assurance. It was a valuable experience.
Conclusion
The work experiences I encountered during the internship allowed me to broaden my designing
perspective. I believe that my practical-based assessments require further refinement. But altogether, it
was a good experience, and everything I learnt will be helpful for my future career in this field.
