WHAT WAS THE METHODOLOGY USED( IF RESEARCH PAPER )

Carbon emissions are captured from the tailpipes of cars through a

device called 'KAALINK'.

A cylindrical device named Kaalink is a post tailpipe

retrofit. It is a reusable device that filters about 85-95% of
soot emissions from a vehicle.
WHAT WERE THE FINDINGS
Graviky Labs developed devices that can be fitted onto the
exhaust pipe of a car or portable generator and collected the
soot that forms from burning diesel fuel. By mixing the fine
black powder with solvents, they produced ink that then went
into bottles and markers.

Graviky captures the soot from vehicular emissions and

purifies it extensively to remove heavy metals and
carcinogens, before distilling it into this dense black ink.

Kaalink is being used to capture the pollution from vehicle

exhausts and then all the toxic components are removed from
the harvested pollution to create clean and safe black ink.

Kaalink is a device that smartly detoxifies

heavy metals and particles Carcinogens from the soot
or carbon.
Most pens use traditional ink which is produced in a process
that involves burning fossil fuels. Air-Ink pens are different-
instead of burning fossil fuels to produce their ink, Graviky labs
actually collects and repurposes carbon from air pollution that
already exists.

During the pandemic, graviky labs took up an ambitious goal,

Air Synth, which converts carbon dioxide into materials such
as plastics, fuels and fabrics.
The black ink we use in our pens or in inkjet printers is
essentially made from soot. The technical term for the
substance is “carbon black,” and it is the powder that remains
after burning coal or oil.
INFERENCE

Harmful pollutants such as Carbon which is produced

by burning fossil fuels such as gasoline and coal, can
be collected from the atmosphere and further can be
used as something simpler such as coloring agent.

By collecting the harmful emissions from the air, there

is a prevention of respiratory diseases and even
cancer. Not only this but the product in general also
has wide application.

creatives and is high quality. And above that it is a
product that presents an opportunity to form a
community of human beings who hope to make world
more sustainable.

Kaalink is designed as a smart

and clever combination of electronic sensors,
collection system and mechanical actuators.
Although Pollution is bad but it can be utilized as an
effective raw material for making ink.Air ink can be
used as a cure for climate change and we can try to
combat pollution.

in mind sustainable development goals.
