Divisions/Awards: We will run separate 7th and 8th grade divisions, with ribbons awarded for first through fifth
places in each division.

Entries: **We will be utilizing Bound for Meet Entries - This is found on your 7th and 8th grade schedules on
the Varsity bound website. 8th grade entries can be made on your 8th grade schedule, 7th grade entries can be
made on your 7th grade schedule. **I included an article from Varsity bound at the bottom of this letter to
help - you may have to ask your AD to add you as a team administrator for your Middle School
Programs. Please check attendance and make as many changes as necessary before 10am to help start the
meet smoothly. Since there are two divisions, be sure to enter in either 7th or 8th grade, as appropriate. Make
sure both grades are entered before you submit your entries. Each school will be allowed up to four entries per
grade level in individual events and two relay teams per grade level. However, only the top two individuals and
top one relay finisher for each team in each event will be allowed to score points and earn ribbons, and only
those will be reported on the final meet printout. Non-scoring or placing times will not be listed on the final
report, so coaches will want to get those times. Individual entries are subject to IHSAA limits. Please email me
and see me in the pressbox as soon as you arrive after I send the meet program out (after 10am - around
11am) of any changes to help us start on time.
Order/Scoring: The standard order of events will be followed. Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1 for all events.

Clean-up: Please remind your team to pick up all debris from their camp once the meet is over. With our new
Turf Football field we ask that there be no camps on the infield.

BUSES: - You can drop off your kids in the circle drive out in front of our new entrance gateway. If you are
coming from the north take a left nearest the NEW softball field to enter the Circle drive. After drop off, please
park towards the far west end of our West Cement Parking lot. DO NOT pull into the BACK LOT behind our
school by the main gate as there will be a lot of cars/traffic there and the space will be tight for buses to exit

Varsity Bound Instructions

In this article we'll walk through the process of submitting track meet entries in Bound.
1. Click the Program tab for Girls or Boys Track & Field

2. On the Program page, click Meet Entries.

3. The Meet Entries page will list all the competitions your team's are listed as a
participant in. Click the green button next to the meet to start the entry process.

If you're not seeing a meet listed that should, that either means the host is not using
Bound's meet registration tool, the competition hasn't been created yet by the host,
and/or the host has simply not added your team as a participant to the competition yet.
4. To enter athletes into an event, click Enter Athletes / Enter a Team. Click the + button
next to the athlete to enter them in that event. For relays, select the athletes from the
dropdown menus. Then click Save.

The specific entry limits for each event will be listed on the entry pages.
5. Once completed and ready to submit, click Save and Declare at the bottom of the
page. This will mark your entries as official and you won't be able to change them.

If not done yet, you can also save and come back later using the Save Without
Declaring button.
Other Notes:

- If marks have been updated in the system after you have entered the athletes, the
marks will be auto updated without having to re-enter those athletes.

- If you hit “Save and Declare” you will get a warning box that shows what events you
have not entered and that this decision is final.
- Once you “Declare” you will receive a date and time that your entries were declared
and again both the events and athletes pages can be printed.
