1 Chapter-1 Industry Profile
They work with media companies to take up intricate work across the service lines of
production services which have to be done in distributed locations in PAN India on a
large scale.
They break it down into more uni-skill tasks and get them done - end to end - through
highly trained employees who complete tasks within the deadline with their relevant
skills and make the final product a quality product.
They hire mostly freelancers and interns and assign them duty of a particular client , Their
most of the work is of video editing and making different creatives for the clients that’s why
they assign work from home mostly.
The company is based in mumbai and mostly their work is of creatives and video editing so it
is easy for them to hire interns and freelancer any where from the country.

WEEKLY REPORT
MONTH – JULY
Week-1
th
11th July- 17 July
th th
18 July – 24 July
th st
25 July – 31 July
On the first day of this week I got just 3 videos and I edited them and sent final video
to them. From the next day they stopped sending work. I asked the person who was
working above me he said that the contract with the client have been terminated as he
didn’t paid the full amount to the interns and terminated contract with us.
I got few amount of my stipend and they didn’t even sent me the certificate.
Also the channel where all these videos were uploaded got deleted and till now there
is no further information regarding my certificate, remaining payment.
For editing More than 100 videos when you don’t receive what you deserve is
disheartning.
Also no certificate was provided to any of the intern who worked for UVNEWS and
even the Youtube channel of UVNEWS was deleted and there is no work for us to
show.
Chapter 3
Learning Outcome
Working with UVNEWS was a good experience despite of what happened with me and other
interns at the end.
Working with them taught me how to work in the industry and systematically as we all had
deadlines to complete the work, we also have re-edit the video if something is wrong in the
video.
It helped me increase my speed and skill in editing as I have to edit about 6-8 videos daily.
What happened with me at the end quiet demotivated me , But it is the part of our learning
too as these kind of situations and experience teaches us a lot for our future.
The most important skill enhanced during this internship was my communication skill that is
one of the most important skill in a person’s professional life
It gave me a good experience of professional life.
