Write a story using the clues. You can also use your own settings and characters in the
story.

POETIC EXPRESSION
What words come to your mind when you think of peace? For example, peace can
be compared to these things.
 Peace is as gentle as a breeze.
 Peace is as still as water.
 Peace is the sun’s warm rays touching my face on a winter morning.
 Peace is calm waters of the sea.
These are some examples of metaphors and similes related to peace. Form some new
metaphors and similes and use them to design an impactful poster on peace.
Keep these points in mind while designing the poster.
 The poster should be colourful, attractive and eye-catching.
 It should send across the message clearly.
 The slogan, jingle and verse should be short and easy to understand.
 There should be proportionate spacing.
