Feng Shui is an art which helps you live in a better and fruitful manner. 2Feng
Shui can help you acquire wealth only when you work towards acquiring it. 3It will
support you to seek fame and fortune and will create a congenial environment from the
same. 4Feng Shui redirects the energy flow of your home and office, in order to attract
the wealth opportunities, thus making you prosperous. 5However, the basic tips remain
the same as always, that is, to do away with clutter and wisely arrange the Feng Shui
elements and objects in your space. 6These steps will ensure that you take your first
step towards your goal.

The ruling element of the wealth corner is wood and the direction is south east.

Therefore, the southeast corner of your home and office must be kept clean and
organized. 9The lighting in this area should be natural, neither too bright nor too dim.

Keep this corner constantly lighted or for as long as possible. 11Apart from this, the
free flow of chi, the energy, is a must. 12Maintain high levels of oxygen so that it brings
abundance, vitality and strengthens the energy field. 13Besides, objects like Citrine and
Pyrite, the “sun mineral” is also known for attracting wealth and strengthening your
self-esteem.

Directions: Complete the following situations using appropriate tenses of the verb in
the parentheses.
A. Present Perfect Progressive/Past Perfect Progressive
1. It is already 9:30 P.M and I have been waiting here for over an hour. If Markuz
does not get here in the next five minutes, I am going to leave.
I was really angry at Markuz yesterday. By the time he finally arrived, I had waiting
for over an hour. I almost left without him.
2. Did you hear Renz was fired last month? He had been working for that import
company for more than ten years and he have been working in almost every
department. Nobody knew the company like he did.
3. When Lanie came into the office yesterday, her eyes were red and watery. I think
she had been crying.
B. Present Perfect/Present Perfect Progressive

Rey: I think the waiter have forgotten us. We have been waiting here for over half
an hour and nobody has taken our order yet.
Shiella: I think you’re right. He has walked by us at least twenty times. He
probably thinks we have ordered already.
Rey: Look at that couple over there; they have been here for only five or ten
minutes and they already have their food.
Shiella: He must realize we have not ordered yet! We have been sitting here for
over half an hour staring at him.
Rey: I don’t know if he has even noticed us. He have been running from table to
table taking orders and serving food.
Shiella: That’s true, and he has not looked in our direction once.

I’m sorry I left without you last night, but I told you to meet me early
because the show started at 8:00. I tried to get tickets for that play for months,
and I didn’t want to miss it. By the time I finally left the coffee shop where we
were supposed to meet, I had five cups of coffee and I waited over an hour. I had
to leave because I arranged to meet Lali in front of the theater.
When I arrived at the theater, Lali had already picked up the tickets and
she was waiting for us near the entrance. She was really angry because she
waited for more than half an hour. She said she had almost given up and gone
into the theater without us.
Lali told me you had been late several times in the past and that she
would not make plans with you again in the future. She mentioned that she had
missed several movies because of your late arrivals. I think you owe her an
apology. And in the future, I suggest you be on time!

Andrei: I am going to finish my degree next march. By the time I graduate, I shall
have gone to four different colleges and universities, and I will have been studying
for more than five years.
