General Examination Instructions:

1. THIS PAPER CONSISTS OF FOUR QUESTIONS.

2. IT IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS.
a. Part 1 – Questions 1 & 2 (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
b. Part 2 – Questions 3 & 4 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
3. EACH QUESTION WILL BE ANSWERED ONE AT A TIME.
4. 45 MINUTES ARE ALLOCATED FOR EACH QUESTION.
5. EACH QUESTION IS PROTECTED BY A PASSWORD.
6. THE PASSWORD WILL BE RELEASED AT A SPECIFIED TIME.
7. 10 MINUTES WILL BE GIVEN FOR EACH ANSWER SCRIPT SUBMISSION.
8. A 5-MINUTE BREAK IS GIVEN BEFORE CANDIDATES CAN BEGIN TO ANSWER
THE SUBSEQUENT QUESTION.

1. Students will receive the questions through their UTM email account (EXCEPT FOR
UTMSPACE STUDENTS) before the test.
2. In the email, students will receive:
a. Link to WEBEX session (COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE via WEBEX)
b. ALL Questions (password locked)
c. Link to get password
d. Google form links to submit answer script for ALL question
3. Each student will be assigned a specific set of questions. PLEASE ANSWER ONLY
YOUR ASSIGNED QUESTIONS.
4. If there is any issue (e.g., failure to receive the email or to open the files), please immediately
contact your respective section lecturers.
5. Upon submission of answer scripts, students are reminded to make sure they receive an
email acknowledgement receipt.
6. Students are also reminded to check that the file uploaded for submission is correct via the
email acknowledgement receipt.
7. Failure to submit the correct answer script will result in zero marks.
