MOTORIST HOTEL
A former Entrepreneur has decided to build a motorist hotel from the land property inherited from
his parents. The project is a 10-unit motel that will cater the increasing tourists that will visit the town
of Sagada. The available open area stars to slope up at 20% to the northeast 5 meter from the
road, with a great view of the sprawling rice terraces and the breathtaking sunsets of the town.
The site also have an indigenous tree (Alnus tree) is also located in the site with a bole measuring
30cm diameter, and a foliage of 12ft diameter located near the front of the lot set 8.77meters from
the Roadside and 14.73 meters measuring from the right side of the lot. The main road have 12
meter road width the road going to the east directly going to the town proper with a travel time

The client wants to incorporate the Vernacular Cordilleran Architecture to immerse the tourists with
the culture of the province as well as to minimize the carbon footprint of the proposed project.
The project requires 5 twin be units with toilet, 5 queen bed units with toilet an bath with a 10 car
garage/parking slots, an Information office/lounge with toilet, a general storage room, Laundry
room with Housekeeping/utility room, a kitchen, Genset room to be located outside.
The design should be able to exhibit the beauty of the place and give a cozy feel for the people
staying in the motel.
