Background of the Learners ● Most students come from average socio-economic status; with average to high
intelligence
● Most learners like visuals, demonstration and working individually and
● Most students have access to the internet at home; most have smartphones, laptops
and desktop.

I. Objectives

A. Content Standard(s)
The learners demonstrate understanding of: demonstrates understanding of lifestyle and weight management to promote societal fitness

B. Performance Standard(s)
The learners transfer learning by: maintains an active lifestyle to influence the physical activity participation of the community and society
practices healthy eating habits that support an active lifestyle
C. Learning Competencies
The Learner engages in moderate to vigorous physical activities for at least 60 minutes a day in and out of school.
D. Learning Outcomes
After the discussion, all students must be able to:
1. understand the history and rules of basketball
2. illustrate the basic skills of basketball, and;
3. create 1 set of exercise that is good for basketball.

2. Analysis
● In the plenary discussion, the teacher poses the following questions to facilitate analysis of the new topic;
a. What is the history of basketball?
b. Who is the founder of basketball?
c. What are the rules of basketball?
d. What are the basic skills in performing basketball?
e. What are the best exercises to improve playing basketball?
3. Abstraction
● The students will start to do the task and accomplishing the activity given by the teacher.
● The teacher will bring the discussion to a close by asking the following questions:
a. What did you learn from our discussion?
b. Do you see yourself playing basketball? What are those skills you’d like to perform?
● After the Lesson
4. Application
● The class must create 1 set with 5 exercises that improves playing basketball
● Discuss the rubric for summative exercise.

From what you’ve learned and from the things that remind you from our discussion: Basketball. Today you have to create a set of 5
exercises that makes a basketball player improve its skills. You can look for a reference using the internet for your guide.

You have to show your work here in our class before January 11, 2022, at 1:30 pm.

•        Accuracy and validity of input data = 20 points
•        Mechanics, presentation, and layout of exercises = 20 points
