Each of you think of your college major and write a list of important skills you need for your career field
and your ambitions. Use “need”, “it is important”, ”would like to”, and ”want to”.

Step 2
Now that each of you has a list, create a conversation talking about your studies,
skills, and ambitions.

Example 1:
A: Hey friend! What are you doing?
B: Hello there, I’m designing a plan to finish all my activities for the weekend. It is important to be methodical
to succeed.
A: You are right, especially when you are a civil engineer. You also need technical and interpersonal skills.
B: Yes, after I graduate, I would like to work in a construction company.
A: What company would you like to work for?
B: …
A: Tell me, what about you? What is your majoring?
B: I’m studying Education. I want to be the best Science teacher for teenagers.
A: Wow…you need to be really patient!!!
B: Yeah, and you also need interpersonal skills.
A: Yeah, that’s true. After you graduate, Where would you like to work?
B: Well….
