He, She, it = Verb 1 + s/es  kalimat negative dan questions pakai kt. Bantu “DOES”

(+) She goes to the gym twice a week.

(-) She does not go to the gym twice a week.
(?) Does she go to the gym twice a week?
 Ketika bertemu do dan does maka Verb akan kembali ke bentuk V1 basic.

Dengan TO BE1
S + to be1 (am, is, are) + O/ adj./ Adv./ compl.

I = am
You, they, we = are
He, she, it = is

(+) She is in her office.

(-) She is not in her office.
(?) Is she in her office?

(+) I am angry.
(-) I am not angry
(?) Am I angry?

(+) They are our teachers.

(-) They are not our teachers.
(?) Are they our teachers?
PAST SIMPLE
 Ttg aktivitas yg terjadi di masa lalu. Tidak berkaitan dgn masa present.

Dengan VERB 2
S + V2 + O/ Adj / Adv/ Compl.

All Subjects + V2 = kalimat negative dan questions pakai kt. Bantu “DID”

(+) They bought some flowers for their teacher.

(-) They didn’t buy some flowers for their teacher.
(?) Did they buy some flowers for their teacher?

(+) Salma went to the supermarket last night.

(-) Salma didn’t go to the supermarket last night.
(?) Did Salma go to the supermarket last night?

 Ketika bertemu DID maka Verb akan kembali ke bentuk V1 basic.

Dengan TO BE2
S + to be2 (was, were) + O/ adj./ Adv./ compl.
I, He, She, It = was
You, we, they = were

(+) I was at the library.

(-) I was not at the library.
(?) Was I at the library?

(+) They were happy to see me.

(-) They were not happy to see me.
