flight procedures as defined in the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM). This less~n 1s a
flight from FAOR to FAOR and practices normal procedures, automation and di~play
management. Scan flow patterns and crew duty orientation are introduced and practiced.
APU, electrical and fuel systems are reviewed as they occur during this procedure.
Maxi~um use of the flight director and auto flight system will be l;!Sed throughout to control
the aircraft. Emphasis will be on the flight mode annunciations, its meaning, and the need to

LESSON SUMMARY
This_ lesson is a night flight from FALA to FALE. Integration and practice of FMC tasks
con~mues. Ro~te modifications are made as the flight progresses. External air will be used for
engine start with a cross-bleed start on the second engine. Non-normal procedures are
introduced and practiced throughout the flight.
LESSON OBJECTIVES
The assessment will consist of vectors onto the final segment of VOR 21 R in FAOR, the
student is expected to prepare and complete the final segment CDFA culminating in a go
around and missed approach. The assessment ends at completion of the after-take-off
checklist. All applicable procedures, checklists and standard call outs must be carried out to an
acceptable level. Manual flying must remain within tolerances given at the beginning of this
module. Other student or Instructor must act or carry out pilot monitoring duties as requested
by Pilot flying/ Student been assessed. Only on successful completion is the student cleared to
continue onto Type rating/Completion of MCC. No instructor intervention/prompting allowed
during LOS.
