LESSON SUMMARY

T_his lesson provides flight deck familiarization while practicing normal pre-fli~ht and ~o st
flight procedures as defined in the Flight Crew Operations Manual (FCOM). This less~n 1s a
flight from FAOR to FAOR and practices normal procedures, automation and di~play
management. Scan flow patterns and crew duty orientation are introduced and practiced.
APU, electrical and fuel systems are reviewed as they occur during this procedure.

Maxi~um use of the flight director and auto flight system will be l;!Sed throughout to control
the aircraft. Emphasis will be on the flight mode annunciations, its meaning, and the need to
include it in a normal instrument scan. ·
