 INTRODUCTION

Republic act no. 9165 an act instituting the comprehensive dangerous drugs act of 2002,
repealing republic act no. 6425, otherwise known as the dangerous drugs act of 1972, as
amended, providing funds therefor, and for other purposes presidential decree no. 1619
penalizing the use or possession of the unauthorized sale to minors of volatile substances for
the purpose of inducing intoxication or in any manner changing, distorting or disturbing the
auditory, visual or mental process

INTRODUCTION

Rehabilitation helps a child, adult or older person to be as independent as possible

in everyday activities and enables participation in education, work, recreation and
meaningful life roles such as taking care of family. It does so by working with the
person and their family to address underlying health conditions and their symptoms,
modifying their environment to better suit their needs, using assistive products,
educating to strengthen self-management, and adapting tasks so that they can be
performed more safely and independently. Together, these strategies can help an
individual; overcome difficulties with thinking, seeing, hearing, communicating,
eating or moving around.

GAP

▰ The methodology of the study is both theoretical and practical, involving a

literature review, appraisal of case studies; observations, use of interviews and
architectural design principles to formulate and produce a design model for a rehab
center in Cagayan Findings revealed that there are no known well-designed center to
rehabilitate victims of drug addiction in Cagayan The few center available function
as detention and discriminating spaces.

 OBJECTIVE

▰ To provide every individual with opportunities for full and

active participation and inclusion in the society.
▰ To find a valued role for the youths in the community.
▰ To maximize the potential to restore one-self.

PROBLEMS

▰ According to the PDEA 1,637 out of 2,311 villages in region 2

have been declared drug free(674 still affected) Kahulugan-2022
▰ Base from the comprehensive land use plan or (CLUP) of the
municipality there is a slow process addressing in the treatment
of the health and mental issue in the municipality
