What is the process?

1.Test:

-We will send you a test, including a trial editing and proofreading for three chapters.
Please proofread it following our requirements.

-Please finish the sample test within two days(ASAP) and send it back to this email
address.

2.Signing:

We will review your sample and notify you with the results within two workdays
before starting signing procedures.

-After signing:

-At the first stage, we will need 30-50 chapters(about 1,000 words for each chapter)
within 2-3 days for promotions. And these chapters will be assigned to several
proofreaders or editors(3-4) and each will be responsible for a certain number of
chapters.

-In the following stages, we will require 10-15 chapters for daily updates(3-4 editors
or proofreaders responsible for one book).

FYI: We may provide feedback with you for a second revision.

About what you may want to know

The benefits

All proofreading and editing work will be paid monthly. And the rate of each project
is 2-3 USD per 1000 English words, which will be determined by the quality of your
proofreading and editing.

The workload
For proofreaders or editors pass our review: We will assign chapters of the same
book to 3-4 proofreaders, editors or translators. Everyone sign with our platform will
be responsible for 3-5 chapters a day, depending on your schedule of proofreading.

Meanwhile, we hope all applicants can meet our deadline. We prefer to provide
more work opportunities with proofreaders or editors who can submit their
manuscripts in time.

After signing a contract with us

There are some points need to be clarified about your work:

1.The text you have edited is for test only. After we sign the contract, a new novel will
be delivered to you.

2.We expect all proofreaders and editors can keep the same level of work. And if the
chapters you edited fail to meet our expectations in terms of promotions, we will ask
you to make further adjustments and modifications (a second revision).

3.We hope that proofreaders and editors can achieve stable updates and take long-term
responsibility for the novel they are proofreading and editing.

What are the requirements?

During the process, please pay attention to the following points:

1.Correct machine translation errors like vocabulary, grammar and semantics;

2.Please polish the sample to improve its localization in English context and its
fluency, accuracy and readability in English.

3.Please change names including character names, place names and etc. and update
them in a online chart, and carefully cope with Chinese elements in English context.

(It means we need you give new English character names and non-reality city names. We

don't need you to update them in online chart during the test procedure.But you still

need to give them new English names.)

4.Please use Review Mode when you do your proofreading and editing.
5.We prefer to work with writers with high sense of punctuality.

6.Please send us back your sample in doc,and the text name should be (your name +
proofreader).

FYI: You can make innovative adjustments in expressions as long as you can improve its

appeal. But please don't change the plot or layout of the novel.
