II. Instructions: Search for a newspaper or magazine caricature that illustrates the idea/your answer to the question,
“Are the Global North and Global South dependent on one another? Cut or print the caricature then paste it inside the
box provided below. In the space, write a short explanation about it.
The caricature that I chose shows how the global north and south are dependent on each other in terms of trading
money and resources. The man whose barrel has soil and a plant (the Global South) provides resources for the man
holding a barrel filled with money (the Global North) in exchange. What one lacks, the other provides. You can also see
the indifference between the two when it comes to their clothes. The man representing the Global North wears a
business suit, which may showcase that the exchange for them is business only, while the man representing the Global
South is wearing what farmers or workers typically wear, which shows that the exchange for them is work.

III. Instructions: Study the status of the different cities or towns in Albay. Choose one (1) city or town where you can
observe or experience the scenarios in the Global North or Global South. Complete the table by listing specific scenarios.
