FINOFIX NFE CONC

Formaldehyde free fixactive for dyeings and prints with direct and reactive dyes by exhaust
and continuous methods.

PROPERTIES

Appearance : Pale yellow Liquid

Chemical Character : Aliphatic polyamine derivative
Ionic Nature : Cationic
Dilutability : Dilutable in all proportions with cold water

Stability : Stable to hard water, electrolytes, acids & alkalies
Compatibility : Not compatible with anionic products

SALIENT FEATURES:

● Gives direct and reactive dyeings and prints excellent domestic laundering fastness
and very good wel-fastness properties.
● Gives better dyefixing results compared to normal dyefixing agents manufactured
from formaldehyde with respect to tone/colour changes & bleeding of dyes.
● Has only minimal influence on the light fastness of the dyeings.
● Releases no formaldehyde either on the goods or in the fixation bath.

APPLICATION:

1) Exhaust Method:

According to the depth of dyeing

1-4% Finofix NFE CONC for direct dyeing
0.5-2% Finofix NFE CONC for reactive dyeing
Fixation is carried at 40ºC in the neutral region.
Finofix NFE CONC in preferably added in the diluted form to the bath.

2) Continuous Method:

According to the depth of the dyeing pad the dry goods at room temperature with a
liquor containing
10-40 gpl Finofix NFE CONC for direct dyes
5-20 gpl Finofix NFE CONC for reactive dyes and dry at 100 – 130ºC

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

REMARKS:

In wet-on-wet application, the add on must be determined in order to calculate

amount of Finofix NFE CONC to be fed in the pad liquor.
Finofix NFE CONC can be combined with synthetic resin (such combinations may
have a synergetic action regarding the improvement in wet fastness) and/or with
other chemicals such as softners, handle modifying agents, wetting agents,
hydrophobic agents etc.
