I6: As a fisherman, we are having a hard time but because of the situation, there is
nothing we can do. It was nice at first because we caught a lot of fish, but now there
aren’t many. We are just thankful because, in our situation that is very difficult, the
government has given us small items for fishing, which is a great help to us so that the
time will come when we can use the fishing, we will not have to spend anymore and we
will only have to buy a little which are materials of fishing. And we can catch small fish
and sell them immediately to buy rice so that I can feed my family.
I8: When I saw them as a fisherman, we are having a hard time because it has been
going on for a long time, and there is nothing we can do about it. It was nice at first
because we caught a lot of fish, but now there aren’t many only small ones. We are
thankful because, in situations where it is very difficult, the government has given us
small tools for hunting fish, which is a big help to us so our capital is just hard work
because we have tools given by the government. If we are lucky enough to catch a lot of
fish, we will sell it and we will buy rice and leave a little fish for us to eat.
I9: In our case, the government gave us something but not too much because many of
us went fishing, then we said to our officials the problem that we had but we just wait for
the action. It’s just that the situation is getting difficult.

choice is to accept the rules implemented. As fisherfolk, we need to register our fishing
