Blog Volunteering
A powerful way to make a difference in the world is volunteering. It offers lots of benefits for us and
also for our communities. In the following section, we will express our thoughts about volunteering
including personal experience and other interesting topics. Have fun reading ;)
Benefits of Volunteering
As already mentioned, volunteering offers lots of personal and
general benefits. To support this statement, we would like
you to take a look at a part of the results of a study published
https://pin.it/8uz0UxD
The results are an improvement in one’s mental health, a decrease in social isolation, a stronger
bond in communities, a decrease in depression and in general an improved quality of life.

about
Cyberbullying shows the victims’ emotions. It’s
not important what the most or the less victims
felt, but the fact that they felt these emotions could be an influence for their future. When they were
always angry, they could have been more aggressive in the future even if they didn’t want to be.
Sadness, embarrassment or anxiety could lead to being shyer and this could be a problem for a

3. This is a big one but if you want to serve your country and
you’re a patriot, then you can go to the army! In Germany we
call it the “Bundeswehr”. Beautiful and helpful way to
volunteer! Not only do you meet new people, but you also protect your country, learn to be
disciplined and more!
4. If you are more interested into ecological problems, pollution or green energy than you may
be interested in WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms).

cultural and educational exchange, link visitors with organically https://www.miteinander-freude-leben.de/freiwillige-bis-27-

farms, and build a global community conscious of ecological
farming and sustainability practices. In this exchange, you will
work at the farm, meet new people, learn everything about sustainability, experience a new
culture. If you go to the website, you can decide in which country you want to volunteer.
As you see there are multiple ways to volunteer. The “BFD” ( Bundesfreiwilligendienst) is an
organisation in Germany where you can volunteer in lots of different areas and it’s an easy
way too! It is easier than you think it is. Just start with a small step and from that moment on
“You just have to put one foot in front of the other. Then, once you put
one foot forward the path will become clearer. You´ll start seeing paths
that weren’t there before. Most importantly you just have to keep moving”
– Iman Gadzhi
So…
This is a message everyone should learn very early in their life (on the one hand to have a good
behaviour and on the other to teach their friends and colleges what they have learned. It should be
like a kind of chain reaction:
We see others being in trouble -> we find a solution/solve their problems -> the younger students get
taught by our behaviour -> in the following the students start to have a good behaviour and show the
others how to have it.
By doing this we want to tell the world that they should help others, be there for them and always
support them, because one day there will be a situation where someone will need help. If this guy is
a supporter, then he can expect to get support from others.
Life is a give and take. That’s the message. We hope that you could take away some knowledge out
of this blog and maybe you´ll look for a way to volunteer 😊
