I.1 Title:
Flexible Learning Modality
I.2 Rationale DepEd issues guidelines in the implementation of
Learning Recovery Plan which pleas for a flexible learning
modality to address the drastic change in education from
the shifting of modular distance modality to in-face
learning. This policy guidelines focuses on addressing the
learning gaps in literacy, numeracy and scientific skills
among pupils brought by the pestilence.
Flexible Learning Modality is a combination of
digital and non-digital technology that ensures the
continuity of inclusive and accessible education in the
form of online, offline, or blended modes of teaching and
learning processes.
It is a method of learning where students are
given freedom in how, what, when and where they learn.
Flexible learning environments address how physical
space is used, how students are grouped during learning
and how time is used throughout teaching.
Thus, SLES teachers are embolden to develop a

flexible learning process that heighten the learning


process to upsurge the academic performance of learners
and efficiently address learning gaps among pupils.
I.3 Program Every 2 nd or 3rd Friday of the month, SLAC session
Description will be conducted. There will be a resource
speaker/learning facilitator that will take charge of the
topic to be discussed. This School Learning Action Cell
aims to provide teachers wide-ranging skills and
extensive ideas in applying flexible learning modality in
class for better learning.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
1. Elaborate flexible learning modality as a method
of teaching and learning process.
2. Apply flexible learning process in teaching
method.
3. Heighten teaching competencies through the
implementation of flexible learning modality.

COURSE TITLE Flexible Learning Modality

This School Learning Action Cell aims to provide


teachers wide-range skills to apply flexible learning modality
in the teaching and learning process in addressing learning
gaps brought by the distance learning modality.
The proponent, Cherry F. Bagsao Teacher III of Sta.
Lucia Elementary School will share her knowledge and
