TWO-DAY GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT TRAINING ENHANCEMENT CUM

TEAM BUILDING

I – BACKGROUD/RATIONALE

A powerful organization needs a strong basic foundation consists of personnel who

are equipped and motivated to handle the ever changing society. However, in an
organization, it cannot be denied that men and women communicate in different ways,
making it very easy for disagreements and misunderstanding to happen. Gender
stereotypes prevent effective communication between and women. They can even create
hostility, which lessens company morale and productivity. One of the ways to address
this issue is to strengthen gender sensitivity awareness and to build camaraderie in the
workplace.

Bioto Elementary School a small school community aspiring for excellence in both
academic and social aspects, thus, this One-Day Team Building and Gender
Development Plan / Family Day of Teaching Personnel is conceptualized.

Mainly, the basic aim of this is to boost/recharge employees’ morale and

confidence to enhance more the teachers’ skills and capability to be more effective and
competent in their teaching careers.

Through this activity, the school believes that all participants become actively
desirous, passionate and dedicated more in performing their roles and responsibilities
come this School Year 2019 – 2020.

II – PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This is a two-day activity to be participated by all school personnel. This will be held on September
24-25, 2019.The venue of the activity will be announced later. Expenses incurred in this activity shall be
charged against the School MOOE subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

III – OBJECTIVES

1. Develop a healthy response to stress

2. Know oneself through self-mastery
3. Build stronger and healthier relationship among DepEd personnel, and
4. Deepen sense of gender equality
