    Practical/Technical Problems

    Problems I might come across How I can resolve them

    The people might not show up on recording Find backup actors, keep in contact with people
    days or be available for very long and change plans if needed and able to

    Camera battery might run low, either while Charge battery before shooting and make sure
    recording or just in general which could be an to keep an eye on it to see if it gets too low
    issue

    The lighting might be bad inside buildings, Hire out a light to use from college to help or
    especially later in the day use my own if I have any

    Need background sounds to keep it consistent Record a few seconds of sound at the location
    through the production without any random or download some if I absolutely have to
    cuts in the audio

    Might not be able to get actors who look Ask different people if they know anyone until I
    similar, as the character grows up so needs to find someone available and able to fit in the
    have some resemblance production

    Problems I faced How I resolved them

    My camera battery ended up dying and I wasn’t I asked my teachers for a spare charger and got
    able to find my charger for it during recording my battery charged at college so I could record
    the next day

    I was missing some shots when I started to edit I asked the actors when they were available to
    or some shots didn’t turn out great reshoot and did the scenes I needed to get if
    they were missing or needed reshooting

    I was unable to reshoot on some days, mostly Reshot when they were available and tried to
    with Rhia as they had work and other things do every shot. Some I had to do at my own
    come up house (like the bookshelf shot) as I wasn’t able
    to get some more shots to help it flow

    Also couldn’t record with my gran as I was I had to change it so my mum would reunite
    either away or she was on the days we could with the toy instead as she was available more
    have recorded

    The lighting in a few locations wasn’t great We either opened the curtains or tried to use
    the room’s lighting. At the end, I did use a light
    thinking it would work but it didn’t look great. I
    tried to edit it as I couldn’t reshoot that shot
    though
