1. Compare and contrast modern science and philosophy of science.

- In my opinion, the modern science is about studying the physical universe by conducting a
hypothesis, verifying the hypothesis and making a conclusion based on the result of the
conducted action. It also about making experiments to verify the theories conducted. On the
other hand, the philosophy of science focuses on the investigation about what defines science
and what doesn't. It also tries to address common misconceptions and inferences regarding
various fields of science.

2. What is scientific method? Enumerate the steps in the scientific method.

- The scientific method is the process in conducting relatively facts of the conducted
experiments and hypotheses. The process or steps in scientific method involves making an
observation, forming a hypothesis, making a prediction, conducting an experiment and finally
analyzing the results.

3. What are the limitation of science?

- For me, I think that Science can only just cope with visible and measurable events. To create
verifiable evidence, thorough experiments and detailed analysis were indeed required.

4. What do you think is the role of science and technology in our society today?

- I think that the science and technology indeed makes our life easier and more comfortable as
we can now communicate well with other people even if we are far from each other even from
our relatives in other countries. It also helps us to save time especially for students in doing our
activities and research. Lastly, it helps contribute to the development of education.
