HIGHLIGHTS:

 ACCORD sponsored and facilitated the training on Disaster

preparedness/contingency planning
 Review of the Basic concepts on Integrated Risk Management.
 Discussion on principles and framework of Contingency Planning.
 Identification and Assessment of Hazard, Risk, Vulnerability, Disaster and
Capacity.
 Conducted workshop on worst-case scenario, including Goals and Objectives
of Contingency Plan.
 Crafting the Municipal DRRM Structure.
 Discussion on Early Warning System and Evacuation Planning

RECOMMENDATION:

 Continuing participation in the succeeding training and workshop to be

conducted by ACCORD to enhance better understanding, importance and
value of contingency planning as part of DISASTER PREPAREDNESS and
MITIGATION
