After a three-year hiatus, we are pleased to hold auditions once again for the Grosse Pointe

Symphony’s Nester Scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year.

Students from grades 6-11 may audition. Pianists are not eligible. Students need not live in
Grosse Pointe. Auditions will be held on June 17th at 211 Moross Rd, Grosse Pointe Farms. The
selection should consist of one movement from the standard concerto repertoire, unaccompanied.
It need not be memorized. A copy of the piece should be provided for the judges. The winner of
the scholarship will receive $500 and the opportunity to perform that solo with the Grosse Pointe
Symphony.
