WRITING TASK 2

Hi, Good Day ma’am/sir thank you for taking an interest in our products. Here we sell a lot of different products for the
school’s business expo, mainly categorized as, School supplies, handicrafts, and delicacies. For school supplies, we have a
ton of selections, from pad papers to notebook, to coloured pens, pencils, crayons, etc. Our students are all so creative and
good at craftmanship, that’s why we also have an abundant selections of handicrafts that are not just pleasing in the eyes,
but they are also useful. For starters we have different kinds of vases and flowers, paper quilling pieces, picture frames, and
also some kind of decorative bowls and mugs. Taking you from that, if you want something delicious, we also have a ton of
selections for delicacies all made by our students. If you want something sweet, we have all sorts of pastillas, graham balls,
coffee jelly, suman, cupcake, and puto. You want something a little salty or cheesy? You choose from our Cheese delicacies
like cheesy potato balls, mozzarella corn dogs, cheese stick, and Mac and cheese. We also have sets of meals like tapsilog,
bacsilog, shomai rice, shawarma rice, barbeque and shanghai.

Our school’s business expo has a wide variety of products that I’m sure you’re going to love and enjoy. Plus, we make sure
that we sell them at a very affordable price. You wouldn’t have any problem because we also make sure of its qualities. If
you are still interested, our school gate is open for the whole week for the expo so you’re welcome to come by anytime

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

Every student planned their lives differently base on what’s fit for them. We all see different point of views in life. Also
taking into consideration, what do they want to achieve in life. So, between choosing on whether enrolling to college or
straight up working after senior high school really depends on the student himself and the factors that affect his/her
decision.

But if you were to ask me, enrolling to college does insures you of having a diploma. It ensures you to have a concrete
education and training to hold in to. And it does give you the upper hand in finding a decent job. Only that, schools or
universities most of the time really only teaches us how to do a job well done. In short, how to be an employee. Thus, if you
don’t have the will to be something other than being an employee, working or life is what awaits you.

On the other hand, there are instances where students see the potentials of starting to work of early in life. Even though it
cannot insure you of having something to hold into like a diploma, it does give you the upper hand in life experience. It also
shows you that there are other ways to be successful, maybe even more than just going into college for a degree. After all
life experience can teach you more that just being an employee.

But in the end whether you choose to enrol for college or straight up work after graduating senior high school, if you don’t
have the will ang proper mindset to achieve our goals and to gain more than normal, you will be just what other dictate you
can be. We are the captain of our lives; we are the one stirring the wheel to our own success. So, make sure to make the
most on what you end up choosing in life.

WHAT I CAN DO

Typhoon Yolanda left a lot of casualties in its path but the it’s not the only factor or reason why the number of deaths
reached up to 3,600 Filipinos plus a lot of people displaced. Poor governance can also take a blame since they should have
prepared the people and community properly, casualties could have lessened. We have PAGASA to calculate how strong
typhoon Yolanda is. Meaning they have the upper hand to do everything that ensures everyone’s safety. But by the data
gathered, seems like the haven’t given out notice properly. Not everyone has the capacity to prepare for themselves, that is
why preparing first hand for the community was the government’s duties. Which we can all say is not done properly.

WHAT’S MORE

I live near a riverside in my city. Our city government was resourceful enough to develop the riverside for better access and
safety. But just after a few weeks after it’s built the place was trashed by mostly the residents that live right at the riverside,
which are also informal settler. They use money to develop the area but disregard the potential of it to bring money in by
making it a somewhat a tourist spot. But no, it’s like they forgot about it after it’s built. People who have their houses right
in front of in have made the public way their own little are where they put sofas and tables to “chill” like it’s their own living
room. Not to mention the trash that is scattered everywhere. Plus the underdeveloped road and informal settlers scattered
all over the area. In my opinion, they should have first take care of the informal settlers that have been due a long time ago.
Not just because someone who has connections lives there, the city government will just ignore the fact that their houses
sits right in the middle of the road. Second take care of the papers for the land that the road pass through so they can finally
develop the road and give better access to the riverside bay walk. Then have the area cleared out specially the river itself
that if full of water lilies. And lastly have someone who regularly cleans the area so it doesn’t look abandoned. Then finally
they can promote it as a tourist spot giving the city government the money flowing back and to use for other projects to
improve the city.
