2
IELTS ĐÌNH LONG – ĐỀ CƯƠNG ÔN TẬP
SPEAKING - Part 1 – Tháng 9,10,11,12 – Năm 2023
What's the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?
The main difference is the location. In the past, I lived in suburban houses, which were more spacious but less
convenient in terms of access to amenities and work. My current flat offers a more urban lifestyle with easy
access to restaurants, shops, and public transportation.

Can you describe the place where you live?

My apartment is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit on the tenth floor of a high-rise building. It has large
windows that offer a fantastic view of the city skyline. The living room is open and inviting, and the kitchen is
modern and well-equipped. Overall, it's a comfortable and stylish place to live.

Which room does your family spend most of the time in?
We spend most of our time in the living room. It's the central gathering place for relaxation, entertainment, and
family activities.

How long have you lived there?

I've been living in this apartment for about two years now.

What do you usually do in your house/flat/room?

In my apartment, I usually work from home, spend quality time with my family, cook meals, and enjoy leisure
activities like reading or watching movies.

Do you plan to live there for a long time?

I don't have any immediate plans to move. I'm quite content with my current living situation, but I'm open to
considering other options in the future if circumstances change.

Yes, the transport facilities to my home are excellent. There are bus stops and a subway station within walking
distance, which makes commuting and getting around the city very convenient.

Please describe the room you live in?

My bedroom is a cozy retreat within my apartment. It has a comfortable king-size bed, soft lighting, and a
calming color scheme. I've decorated it with artwork and personal mementos, creating a peaceful and inviting
atmosphere that helps me relax and unwind.

Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?

I prefer living in a flat. The convenience of apartment living, with amenities like maintenance, security, and
easy access to the city's offerings, suits my current lifestyle better than the responsibilities that come with
owning a house.

What part of your home do you like the most?

I particularly enjoy our balcony. It's a small oasis where I can have my morning coffee, read a book, or simply
enjoy the view. It provides a sense of connection to the outdoors in the midst of urban living, and I find it quite
refreshing.

options just a short walk or drive away whenever I want to indulge in a cold and sweet treat.

4 Can you make ice cream by yourself?

Making ice cream by myself is a venture I've undertaken a few times. I invested in an ice cream maker that allows
me to experiment with creating different flavors and combinations. It's a bit more involved than simply buying it
from a shop, but the results are often incredibly rewarding. I get to control the ingredients, adjust the sweetness to
my preference, and even come up with unique flavors that might not be available commercially. It's a fun kitchen
project that not only yields delicious ice cream but also gives me a sense of accomplishment.

5. Concentration
1 Could you stay focused in class when you were a child?

I think once I asked my grandmother to help me repair a hole in a pair of jeans I had. You know, she had a sewing

rainy days would be ideal for me.

4 Have you canceled any plans because of rain?

Yes, I've had to cancel or modify plans due to rain. Outdoor events, picnics, and hikes often need to be
