TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES 2
Technology Resources
After looking through the different technology resources, I found two that stood out to
me, and are ones that I could see myself using in my future classroom. The first is RubiStar,
which is a site that allows teachers to create free rubrics. The site offers a wide variety of
subjects that you can choose to make your rubric. Once you select the subject, it guides you on
how to make the different rubric categories. You can use their automated descriptions for each
rubric category, or create your own. There is a lot of flexibility, which is something that I enjoy.
I chose this resource because I can see myself using it in the future when I teach. I am
sure there will come a time in my educational career when I need to create a rubric, and this
resource will be a great guide on how to do so. Whether it be for reading, math, science, writing,
etc., RubiStar can guide me on how I want to assess my future student’s learning.
The second resource that stood out to me is, GoNoodle. GoNoodle is a free website that
many educators use to help get their students moving and be physically active during the day. On
the website, there are many different options teachers can choose from, including topics,
activities and routines, and skills and knowledge. There are tons of different videos that can
allow students to get up and move their bodies, complete different activities, or take a moment to
reflect and breathe. Not only this, but the website offers videos on different subjects, which are
I chose this resource because I think students should take a brain break from time to time,
and have the chance to move their bodies. I also really like that they offer videos on different
subjects, which could be added to my lesson if needed. GoNoodle also offers some activities for
students to complete, and it is always nice to have free resources that I can turn to if needed.
