the dictionary.
× Artisans – Based on the dictionary artisans are people skilled craft workers who
create material objects with the help of their hands.
× Goldsmith – Based on the dictionary professional works with gold to create jewelry
and other items.
× Quilt – Based on the dictionary it is a warm bed cover that is stitched into place
between layers of fabric and is made of padding. Decorative stitching is usually used.
× Renaissance Humanism – Based on the World History Encyclopedia, Renaissance
humanism refers to a 15th-century intellectual movement marked by a resurgence of
interest in the classical world and studies that were less religious in nature and more
concerned with the nature of humanity.
2. According to the video what is art?
× It is an expression of human creativity and feelings on the outside. It takes the form
of architecture, sculpture, and art. We can express ourselves through art. We
communicate by using that expression to express our individual feelings, thoughts,
and experiences.
3. What are the differences between art and craft, and the artist and
artisans?
× Craft is based on learned skills and technique, whereas art depends on artistic merit.
When we say artist it’s a person who creates art such as painting and sculpture using
conscious skill and creative imagination. An artisan is a worker who practices a
handicraft, for example, pottery and a piece of handmade jewelry.
