Finances have always been a problem, especially with those people who have
low financial status. Having financial problems means being unable to pay
debts over the short or long term. Also, as we all know, since we are in the
12th Grade, conducting research is quite costly. Therefore, having a low
financial status could mean that it would be hard for a researcher to provide
printed outputs for their research and questionnaires for their respondents.
Even so, it is still unknown if one’s finances can affect the quality and the
completeness of their research.

In short, can the student researchers complete their research with a good
quality and defend it well despite their financial status?

2. We want to conduct this study to solve an existing problem and to

understand its cause and effect to the population. Since we are also part of
the population, we can benefit to the result of this research.
3. Research is essential in order to find out which solution can be best given to
the problem. Conducting this research will help us better understand the
existing problem and provide solutions. Conducting this research can also be
convenient to the population on the part where the problem can be solved
through to power of the higher ups of the school.
4. Our goal, as student researchers, is to simplify the burden or the problem of
our fellow student researchers regarding their research project. We also wish
to help future researchers so that their research process will be easier and
convenient.
5. This study will be a quantitative research.
6. Since the study will be conducted for students that have research projects,
the respondents will be the Grade 11 and Grade 12 Students of LFNHS, both
the GAS and TVL Department.
7. Based on our calculations using the Slovin’s formula, our study would need
312 samples within the entire Senior High Department.
8. The respondents will be chosen through Cluster Sampling.
Problem Statement

The K-12 Curriculum was implemented in the year 2012. New subjects were
added by the Department of Education, especially Practical Research 1, 2, and
Research Project.

RESEARCH PLAN
1. Research Problem:
What is your research problem?
Finances have always been a problem, especially with those people who have low
financial status. Having financial problems means being unable to pay debts over the
short or long term. Also, as we all know, since we are in the 12 th Grade, conducting
research is quite costly. Therefore, having a low financial status could mean that it
would be hard for a researcher to provide printed outputs for their research and
questionnaires for their respondents. Even so, it is still unknown if one’s finances can
affect the quality and the completeness of their research.

2. Rationale:
Why do you want to conduct this study?
We want to conduct this study to solve an existing problem and to understand its cause
and effect to the population. Since we are also part of the population, we can benefit to
the result of this research.
3. Significance:
Why is it important to be conducted?
Research is essential in order to find out which solution can be best given to the
problem. Conducting this research can be convenient to the population on the part
where the problem can be solved through to power of the higher ups of the school.
4. Objective:
What is your goal to achieve this study?
Our goal, as student researchers, is to simplify the burden or the problem of our fellow
student researchers regarding their research project. We also wish to help future
researchers so that their research process will be easier and convenient.
5. Method and Design: Respondents:
(Is it quantitative or a qualitative study?) (Who or what will be the source of your data?)
This study will be a quantitative Since the study will be conducted for students
research. that have research projects, the respondents
will be the Grade 11 and Grade 12 Students of
LFNHS, both the GAS and TVL Department.

Sample Size:
(How many respondents does your study need?)
Based on our calculations using the Slovin’s
formula, our study would need 312 samples
within the entire Senior High Department.

Sampling Technique:
(How will you choose your respondents/source of
data?)
The respondents will be chosen through
Cluster Sampling.
