Hello
qualitative and quantitative research methods. It is true that combining these elements by mixed
methods happens in the same research and aims at providing greater depth to the conducted
analysis in the research (Dawadi et al., 2021). I feel convinced by the idea presented in this post
that mixed methods allow the research questions to be complex and, in turn, provide answers that
undoubtedly can achieve excellent outcomes in the study. In my view, mixed methods can assist
in answering a question that requires a qualitative approach and a research question that requires
the presentation of the data in numerical form. Just like in your view, the mixed methods are
based on pragmatic philosophy and have their techniques. Like other research methods, I feel
satisfied that this method has advantages, including strengthening the research approach by
utilizing qualitative and quantitative research methods. In addition, explaining different findings
and processes work in research understandably and gives researchers the power to develop and
apply better instruments in research. I concur with you on the identification of difficulty in the
use of the method and in planning, the complexity of the research, and the need for more
instruments, time, and resources because of the size of this method as the advantages of utilizing
this method in research (Stoecker & Avila, 2021). I believe it is appropriate to utilize mixed
methods to address the most complex scientific problems because the answers obtained through
