ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE, REPLACE


1. Disconnect battery ground cable.

2. Insert ignition key into ignition switch lock cylinder and turn to "RUN" position.

3. Insert a punch in access hole of steering column and press release tab while pushing out ignition switch
lock cylinder, Fig. 1.

4. Remove tilt wheel handle and shank, Fig. 2.

5. Remove instrument panel steering column cover.

6. Remove screws (1), Fig. 3.

7. Remove lower steering column shroud, Fig. 3.

8. Remove upper steering column shroud, Fig. 3.

9. Remove screw from bottom of transceiver module, Fig. 4.

10. Disconnect electrical connector and remove module, Fig. 4.

11. Reverse procedure to install.
