ABSTRACT
According to the Decree of the Tanah Laut Regent Number 188.45/657.KUM/2020 concerning the Determination
of Slum Areas of Tanah Laut Regency, it is stated that Tabanio Village is included in the determination of slum areas, as
well asaccording to an interview with the head of Tabanio Village, Mr. Madiansyah said that the slum settlements in
Tabanio Village are spread across Rt 04, Rt 07, Rt 08, Rt 09, Rt 10.
There are three methods carried out in this study, namely using descriptive data analysis methods to determine the
characteristics of slum settlements, the second using the scoring analysis method to determine the level of slums and the
third method uses descriptive analysis with land capability analysis to formulate land management analysis, where from the
analysis characteristics and level of slums can formulate suitable land management for use in the research area. Based on the
results of the analysis carried out there are 4 RTs that have the characteristics of building quality slums, environmental

ABSTRACT
The problem of slum settlements in coastal areas is a measure of a low quality of life, one of which can be seen from
the physical form of settlements. Slum settlements are identical to the lack of facilities, facilities and infrastructure and can
be categorized as uninhabitable houses. According to the Decree of the Regent of Tanah Laut Number
188.45/657.KUM/2020 concerning the Determination of Slums in Tanah Laut Regency, it is stated that Tabanio Village is
included in the determination of slum areas, and according to an interview with the head of Tabanio Village, Mr.
Madiansyah stated that the slum settlements in Tabanio Village spread over Rt 04, Rt 07, Rt 08, Rt 09, Rt 10 .
There are three methods used in this research, namely using descriptive data analysis method to determine the
characteristics of slum settlements, the second using scoring analysis method to determine the level of slums and the method
used. The third is using descriptive analysis with land capability analysis to formulate land management analysis, where
from the analysis of the characteristics and level of slums can formulate land management that is suitable for use in the
research area. Based on the results of the analysis conducted, there are 4 RTs that have the characteristics of building quality
slums, environmental drainage slums, clean water service slums, waste facilities slums and fire protection slums, while in
the research area the slum level is divided into two, namely moderate slum level and mild slum level. ,

in Rt 09 and Rt 10.

Matters to be considered in formulating land

management directives using the land pooling concept
are that land owners are willing to give their land 30% of
the total land ownership to provide space for roads, parks
and public spaces or other public facilities as well as
reserved land. Where after carrying out land pooling
there were additions to public facilities, namely RTH

It was explained that the direction for the

concept of handling slum settlements in Rt 09 where of
the seven settlement components used, there were three
components that received low slum ratings and there
were four slum settlement components that received high
slum ratings, namely the condition of clean water supply,
environmental drainage, solid waste management
conditions. and fire protection conditions, for land
management suitable for Rt 09, namely Land Pooling, as
well as for handling concepts there are 4 (four) namely
the construction of a new SPAM unit, construction of a
new drainage system, construction of a new PSP and
construction of a water hydrant in the research area.
